Throughout all the years of its activity the University has prepared highly-qualified specialists in the field of Information Technology, who successfully work in different state and private enterprises and companies both in Armenia and abroad.

The university realises its activity through 3 departments

Information Science and Programming
Applid Economics and Systems Analysis
General Educational Subjects

Besides educational activity the University carried out scientific and applied researches. During the last 2-3 years researches were done in the field of IT applcation in economy.

The University is a member of RA Government Council Supporting IT Development and IT Enterprises Union.

YUMIT cooperates with th Union off Industry Development Organization (UNIDO) of the UN with the help of trying to contribute the flou off financial resources to realize new offers in technology in Armenian companies.
