Students Scientific Conference in English

July 1-3, 2004. “Information Technology for Sustainable Development” Students Scientific Conference in English in Yerevan University of Management and Information Technology (YUMIT).

The conference goals and objectives are:

to promote the development of students scientific activities
to promote English language education, as a language of Information Technology and Internet
to promote the development of system thinking in the field of Information Technology
to strengthen the relationship between students and the teaching staff
to promote the development of knowledge and skills in correspondence with modern labor market requirements
to encourage innovative thinking in the era of New Economy, characterized by quick development of Information Technology and Globalization

The main participants were the students of YUMIT and European Regional Institute of Information and Communication Technology in Armenia (ERIICTA): There were also some students of Vanadzor State Pedagogical Institute and Yerevan State Linguistic University aft. V. Brjusov.

The members of conference were very excited from the conference and there were offers to arrange similar performances frequently.
