  • How many students are there at your University?
  • There are 300 students at our university; about 30-35 specialists graduate from our University annually.

  • What specialists are taught at your University?
  • The University prepares specialists in IT for different fields of economy: finance, banking system as well as managers and programmers.

  • What basic subjects are taught at your University?
  • Besides all the compulsory subjects so taught at any higher educational institution our students profoundly learn computer sciences, packages of applied various computer programs, programming languages, operation systems, Internet design, economics, management, and a number of subjects connected with IT. Foreign language (English) is taught throughout the period of study.

  • What departments function at your University?
  • Our University has a college that admits applicants with the completion of 8th and 10th forms of secondary school; the period of study is 3,5 and 2,5 years respectively. We also have a preparatory faculty, baccalaureate and magistracy. The University is integrated into the union of specialized institute with the State Accreditation. The Union comprises Interlingua, the University of Foreign Languages, Finance Academy and ‘Urartu,’ the University of sociology and psychology.

  • How much is the tuition fee at your University?
  • In the first course it makes 200 000 - 220 000 dram currency, and it depends on the results of the entrance exams. From the second course and up to the completion of studies the fee is calculated by a special formula, which takes into account the students’ success in studies. It may vary from 160 000 dram for excellent students to 234 000 dram for the students who demonstrate bad results. The tuition fee for foreign students is 320 000 dram.

  • What can you say about your professors and lecturers?
  • Lectures, seminars and practice classes are delivered by highly qualified specialists, as well as lecturers form State and Private Institutes. The academic staff comprises academicians, professors, associate professors.

  • How can you comment on job opportunities of your graduates?
  • As statistics says 90% of our graduates are employed at different offices and organizations both in Armenia and abroad; 10% of our graduates work in Russia, 3% in the US and 2% in Georgia.

  • What is the students’ life like at your University?
  • The University has a Student Council and a Sports Club. The Student Council organizes interesting activities as well as arranges scientific seminars and Olympiads. The Sport Club organizes different sport events in different kinds of sports such as chess, table tennis, volley-ball etc.
